At the time we visited Demoz she was in her 40’s living with advanced stages of HIV with no family support. Her son still lives with her but needs to leave the home daily to make a living. The neighbors do their best to support her. She is so weak she did not want to drink water for fear she did not have the strength to take herself to the restroom. Our team came in and cleaned up her bedding and environment and provided her with the medicine to be comforted during final stages of life.
